Chambered in .40 S&W, and rated for +P ammunition, the Hi-point 4095 Carbine is an ideal firearm for home-defense. The adjustable sights are available for back up for the Crimson Trace CTS-103 Red Dot optic. The combination of the 17.5″ threaded barrel, a reasonably powered cartridge, and a red dot sight make the Hi-Point 4095 Carbine a serious contender in the self-defense and home-defense category. The integrated internal recoil buffer in the stock reduces perceived recoil and helps you stay on target. A Picatinny rail on the underside of the forend lets you mount additional accessories such as lights or lasers. The skeletonized polymer stock is weather resistant and able to withstand harsh conditions and use.
